Wonderful surroundings

A lovely hotel in wonderful surroundings. We went end of season so some facilities were starting to close down. Luckily the tourist train was still operating into Umag. Good hotel, clean, well maintained, good choice at mealtimes. Evening entertainment was energetic but poor. Trips were very good, especially Lake Bled. Would recommend this hotel.

My friend and I visited in July 2006 during the Croatian Tennis open, and had such an amazing time that as soon as we got back we booked up again to visit at the end of august!! It was quieter then, but both times we had a lovely holiday! Staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were always clean and spacious (even for 3 people) prices were cheap (£6.60 for 3 Jack Daniels and Coke in a local bar) The staff were always welcoming to the activities as well; I tried my hand at both shooting and archery - both of which were made fun by the "sports coach"! All I can say now is "where do I sign up for next year?"
