Top Local Tips for Trogir
Medena is NOT in Trogir Don't be fooled by the brochure. Medena is isolated on a hill 4km outside Trogir Town
old town The old part of the town is very beautiful and well worth seeing.
return to airport Book the hotel minibus for your return to the airport. if there is a crowd of you then this is the cheapest way

The service leaves much 2 be desired and staff sometimes gets on your nerves. If u think that u'll be provided with shampoo+soap every day, u're mistaken. Of course it's up 2 u to make scenes at the reception, but as 4 me, I'd rather bring all that myself.
As for meals, they're quite eatable. Once I happened to meet an insect in my salad, but it's OK. I'm not that unsophisticated. At the same time the numerous staff will ask u 2 part with your bags at the entry to the "restaurant" to prevent u from stealing their precious and priceless jams and butters. By the way, during supper u'll be offered some sour wine and soft drinks 4 EXTRA pay. I tried 2 avoid this injustice by bringing juices+mineral water - thus I saved money, but it didn't save me a lot of trouble - staff devoured me with their eyes and kept bothering me all the time offering THEIR drinks.
One more disadvantage is that staff don't speak English. Maybe they think they do speak English, but it'll take u long 2 make out what they're trying 2 say. (Professor Higgins would have amused himself a lot...)
For night life and entertainment u'd better go out to Trogir unless u want to die of boredom in a local bar near the hotel. Some third-ratw middle aged barmen'll go out of their way to entertain u and u'll have nothing 2 do but dance to the sounds of five year old "hits". So, in search of night pleasures and good music set out for clubs in Trogir.
But still impolite staff and evergreen tomatoes for supper are nothing compared with the wonderful sea, fresh air, hot+friendly sun and fabulous nature which makes up fof the lack of staff's manners. Enjoy yourself!!!
