Hotel Spilt - very poor quality

The hotel is in very very poor shape. The pool has lots of green scum growing on the tiles. The water is also very cloudy and they blame it on the heat. The pillows are absolutely terrible....they are sacks of empty cloth with lumps of foam in them. The service is relatively friendly but very inefficient. The elevators are on their last legs and the patios around the hotel have heaved stones with lots of weeds growing in them. The A/C is poor and makes lots of noise. I was told by one of the staff that the entire hotel is a mess and that it will be torn down thei November and totally replaced. I guess they are not fixing anything before that. I would recommend it....even at 3*
