We stayed here a week before Christams and were very pleased.The internet was free of charged and accessable everywhere...Sea view room was very clean and comfortable, very attractive.
The staff was very helpful.
The rooftop pool and balcony were wonderful.
If we return would not hesitate to stay here again:)

Stayed at The Hotel San Antonio for one week in May 2008. A most charming and well run hotel who puts it's guests in the centre of everything. The restaurant menu is superb and the breakfasts more than adequate. To have dinner and breakfast on the lovely terrace is delightful. The rooms are well designed, comfortable beds and super bathrooms.
All the staff from management, front desk, waiters, and the lovely lady who cleaned my room could not have been any more helpful and friendly. I would return to this hotel again and recommend to others.

Top Local Tips for Split

dining There are a lot of smaller restaurants along the coast, that you can only see by walking on the beach . It is better to park your car and get out and walk . These places are ususlly owned by families and have been around for awhile. The people who work there are very happy to fill you in on everything there is to do or see in the area.

Beautiful Beautiful hotel with very friendly stuff

Ferries and buses Buy ferry and bus tickets ahead of time, because they sell out, and the information you get on times often changes! Ask a few times about the schedules! If you want to get from Split to Dubrovnik, the best way is by bus. It's only 4 1/2 hours, and costs about 100 kunas each (approx. $20 CAD). Buy your ticket early, though, because the bus tickets sell out.
