We stayed one night on our way to the airport and I would not have stayed any longer. The hotel is in bad need of renovation. Our large room had nice furniture, but the bedspread needed to be discarded and when we attempted to close the drapes they literally fell apart. There had been a serious leak in the ceiling of our room. The bathroom was nice and appeared to have been redone. The carpet on the stairs was old and dirty. There was a bright light outside out window that shown all night, so our room was never dark. I will say that the night cleck could not have nicer and tried to be very helpful to travelers who were arriving late and were confused, after having difficulty finding the hotel entrance.

We loved this hotel & city....so much that we stayed 3 nights. The hotel owner and her staff were so nice and we loved our room. The hotel is located on the main square. While I was using their computer, the owner brought me delicious, fresh cookies straight from the oven. Then our last night, a knock on our door brought more fresh cookies. The included breakfast was good, too. We're so glad we decided not to stay in Zagreb. A great restaurant was just a few feet behind the hotel. Croatia and their people are wonderful! Two weeks was not enough.

We stayed 3 nights in May and the Hotel was more then I expected. Great service, beautiful furnished and clean room, the staff were very warm and helpful in everything we requested. A very short ride to Zagreb and the breakfast was excellent.

This place was fabulous! The staff was most helpful, especially sharing information about my grandfather's town. The kremsnice was fabulous, by the way. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was quite plentiful. Can't wait to return next year. So representative of beautiful Samobor. And....very reasonably priced.
