Amfora - what's with all the hype? Trust Fodor's, not Frommers Don't go to this restaurant if you only speak English. Asking simple questions was a huge challenge, and for the money, no one should treat you like you are imposing when you want to know what kind of fish the "fried mixed fish" is made from. Rude service. Food was no better than anywhere else we went in Rovinj. Save your money and go somewhere else to get fish. It's everywhere.

Casa Garzotto stay at Casa Garzotto instead. More basic, but great service and perfectly good if you are not planning to spend much time in the hotel.
