Top Local Tips for Korcula

Do venture out of Korcula Town Although you could spend 2 weeks going in and out of Korcula Town, make sure you give Vela Luka a go, a lovely drive there, and the shops are actually better for practical things at cheaper prices. There is a lovely Marina there as well. there are also more wine shops for locally grown wine. Restaurants are good as well. Rascisce is worth going to for the settign alone, at the end of the road from Korcula going West, it is a working fishing town, with Three Storey houses, built for Fishermen and seamen, this is a lovely place, with a fantastic beach about 2km west. Lumbarda has several great beaches and one of the islands only sandy beaches, also there are a variety of restaurants.
