We booked the Hotel Lapad as it looked like a nice 3 star hotel, within our budget, we had a choice of many through Croatia tours. I looked online at some reviews before we left and they all advised it was cheap and cheerful but nothing amazing so I wasn't expecting the Hilton. When we arrived it was midnight and the hotel had provided us with a cold buffet, expecting we would be hungry after travelling which was nice! The room was lovely, 2 single beds pushed together instead of a double, but not the end of the world. The shower was amazing, the beds comfortable and clean, the air conditioning fantastic. Light controls for all lights in the room and bathroom on the wall and beside each bed so we didnt even have to get up to turn them on or off. We had a little table and chairs outside on our own mini-terrace which was nice.
The staff were very friendly and helpful (bus tickets sold at front desk) the pool and pool area were cleaned regularly and well maintained. The pool bar......
