Fantastic position for everything

We went with holiday options and the price was very good. The location was brilliant, 5 mins from beach, right near lovely restaurants. Don't expect cheap meals though as they are probably the same as here in a good pub restaurant. The food in the hotel was great, lots of choice, great fish. We stayed in the Boutique hotel and went to the main hotel for food, our room was great very clean. A brilliant indoor pool and a fantastic massure at really good prices. Busses run well nearby, although we walked everywhere, only 3/4 of an hours walk into old Dubrovnick, lovely walks up in the hills and a nice walk of about 1/2 an hour to the newer port. The staff were helpful, we loved this hotel, the position was pefect and we would definitely go back.

Great Hotel, Great Location

We loved the place. Hotel was good for 3 star, with big outdoor pool (sea-water so a little cool!), with plenty of sun beds. Food was better than average for 3 star, with great choice for dinner, and well cooked. Breakfast was normal fayre. Get a sea view room in main building if possible, as you get a fantastic view of Lapad Bay. Wot to do - relaxing in the sun, either by the pool, or on one of the shingle beaches within easy reach. Walking - lovely walk around Lapad peninsula, easy walk down to main port, and easy bus links to the "Old Town". Best thing we did. From Dubrovnik, catch the local bus to Cavtat, cost £1.20. The journey is spectacular, back towards the airport along the coast, then drops down to Cavtat. You can also get to Cavtat by boat from the old town. Other places to go - Ubiquitous "Three Island Trip" was a pleasant day out. You can also have trips to Korcula (do yourself on ferries from main port, 15 mins walk from hotel), Mostar was apparently a very interesting trip. Evenings - not much happening. just going out for a quiet drink after dinner. Hotel and resort perfect for a relaxing holiday. If you want any more info please contact us at dtarsky at tesco.net
