The staff at the hotel couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. The location is fantastic with everything you could need near by (shop, plenty of bars and excellent restaurants). Cavtat is a wonderful place - GO SOON!

1970's European, old world flavour. Tired decor, superbly clean rooms with modern en-suite. Small screen crt T.V. showing euro channels and CNN world news in English. Very helpful and pleasant 24hr reception staff, the only person on site. Breakfast is passable euro style low quality. Evening meals are very disappointing, overcooked, tasteless low quality. Desert option of fruit is a random pick from the breakfast fruitbowl. Acceptable house red wine. Sea view to front only through narrow window onto the bay, pick the room with a rear view to the garden. Located between two loud church bells.

Beautiful location, in the centre of town, but far enough to avoid disturbance from noise, Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast could do with a little improvement, but the omelette's are excellent!

Top Local Tips for Cavtat

Use the buses If you don't mind using local buses they are cheap and easy to get about from Cavtat and via Dubrovnik. Some properties in Cavtat are on a hill so car hire would be even better!
