This is by far the best hotel I have ever syated in within Europe. It was completely clean, not even a speck of dust. The staff were attentive and friendly and can't do enough for you. The childrens entertainment is great. The food is unbelieavble and all freshly cooked right in front of you so you really know what you're eating. The pool area is safe and clean, with free sunloungers and beachtowels, and reserving of sunbeds isn't allowed! As for Bol itself, the little fishing port is beautiful and very picturesque, only ten minute walk away. In the opposite direction is Zlatni rat beach, which although being pebbles, is such a beautiful beach. The diving here is very good considering it is part of the Med, we even saw Dolphins!

This hotel and surroundings are breathtaking, it is the best place in Europe I've ever been and will definately return.

A very good hotel living up to RIU standards. Probably the best location in Bol - peaceful surroundings and great access to the (pebble) beach. The famous beach of Zlatni Rat (The Golden Horn). It's worth pointing out that, whilst the beach looks in the photo's like the most perfect, sandy beach to be found anywhere in the world- it is, in fact, a pebble beach.
The Hotel itself has a nice pool area and outside dining area. The rooms are fine - comfortable and clean. We stayed in one of the apartments which are found in a separate area behind the main building. This was well worth it, as it was very quiet and picturesque and it also gave us much more room - with a separate lounge area. Fantastic area for long walks and bike rides (you can hire mountain bikes outside the hotel). There is a very good beach bar and restaurant directly in front of the hotel and a very short stroll in either direction will bring you many more choices. Bol itself is beautiful - a wonderful harbour and very quaint, traditional buildings and village life. There is not much more to the Island of Brac itself than Bol - so if you want to tour, go elsewhere. If you want a beautiful village with crystal clear waters and plenty of scenary and walks, you'll love it

Amazing Beach Bol is home to the most amazing, beautiful beaches in the world!

relaxing! We went out a lot in bol the price of a pint of beer is £2.00 and wine about two fifty There is only one night club it doesnt get started till two in the morning and is all locals. The bars stay open till one and are all very relaxing in between the trees in soft comfy chairs with mellow chilled music dont expect anthing but a quiet nightlife scene

arriving from Supetar and travelling on to Hvar We generally had good weather but a torrential day of rain in Bol doesn't leave a lot to do but walk around (pack a cagoule if you go in late September!!) ..... annoyingly we arrived in Supetar in wet weather and, since there's nowhere to leave luggage had no option but to get straight on the bus to Bol. An interesting view of the interior of the island though. ..... If you're planning to go on to Hvar from Bol make sure you know which days the excursion boat goes (it was Saturday when we were there) as it's about a tenth of the price of hiring a taxi boat.
