Top Local Tips for Sofia

Great Tips!!!!!!!!!!! You can save a lot by booking through the travel business directly across the street from the main entrance of the hotel. Also, this is the best place to exchange money in all of Sofia. Take the taxis that say OK on the side and make sure they turn on the meter. The taxi service in Sofia is wonderfully cheap. There is a new cab company with ok on the side of the vehicle but the ok is a lighter blue so be careful. You do not see them as often as the OK taxis you want to take. The Happy Restaurant right across the Street from the Sheraton is wonderful. the food is so good, staff great, and it is very inexspensive. There is a great spa called Charmant Day Spa. I have been there probably 12 times and I love it. They have everything you would want in a day spa and the prices are amazing. It is near downtown so you could walk to get there. Nightlife is great in Sofia but please check out Brillantines, Budda Bar, and Planeta.
