This is not really a budget hotel but the prices were still excellent. The hotel seems to be very new and well kept. The breakfast (included in the price was OK, nothing special, but enough to get the day started off corectly). The hotel staff speak English (though with varying degrees of fluency). But they were friendly and helpful. The hotel is about five minutes walk from the train and bus stations and very near the central park. The only down side to the hotel is that there is not much to do in Shumen. This is not a tourist town. But if you are there on business or for a seminar (as we were) it is a great place to stay.
