Deposit When we returned our car the man from the rental company met us at departures in the airport. He "found" damage that exactly equalled the amount of our deposit and claimed not to know what a receipt was. I am certain that he didn't even bring the cash deposit with him. Since we only had an hour before our flight we had to give up and leave without the money.

Bansko experience! Bansko, a developing ski resort has a long way to go in comparison to Val d'Isere (France) or Westendorf (Austria). I was informaed before i went that there is alot of building going on however noting could have prepared our group for living and trying to mind ourselves from falling into deep foundations for the week! on a very serious note there is no health and safety in the village or on the slopes. The slopes are organised in a hap hazard manner and alot of basic safety precautions that are common place in any established ski resort are not there for example there is nothing to stop your fingers getting mashed in the pully lifts! There is one gondola and the wait was one hour plus. you can get a taxi to the top but that is additional cost to the trip!It is a cheaper ski pack for a reason!
