We hane stayed at the De Kring 8 tines and have always been glad to return. The food is as good as it gets. Rita, Gerry and all the staff are attentive and courtious. Events can be noisey and go on till late. The rooms are clean and functional although on the small size. Can't wait to go again.

We could stay only one night, and had to leave early in the morning so could not linger as long as we would have liked over the delicious freshly baked rolls and croissants, the tasty soft boiled free range egg and the selection of cold meat and cheese, all served in the immaculate tasteful traditional dining-room. The bedroom was in the annex so we had to cross a small courtyard to get to the dining-room, which might not be such a good idea in bad weather. There was also a warning in the room that if a function was being held in the hotel, it could be noisy, so earplugs were provided! It would be worth checking before booking if you want to be sure of a quiet night. We would be happy to stay there again, and would hope to be able to have a meal other than breakfast. They pride themselves on fresh local seasonal produce and have a good reputation in the town. Everything was clean, fresh and wholesome. The staff whom we met were kind and helpful.
