We have now stayed at Ter Zaele 5 or 6 times over the last 10 years or so.
The owners are just so friendly and helpful that we keep going back even though there are cheaper Hotels in the area. Last time we went we weren't sure when we would arrive - no problem thay would leave a key out for us. Then we found we had forgotten our swimwear - no problem Sabine managed to find us some to use. When the hotel is quiet they do not employ bar staff - no problem, you serve yourself and mark your drinks down on an honesty sheet. Breakfast is a plentiful buffet with more available if required.
Ter Zaele has an outside pool in summer and a heated inside pool and sauna in winter, not many hotels at this size or room rate can offer that.
