I had a great time while staying in Ambrosia. I feel so relaxed and comfortable because of cosy and homely ambiance of the hotel. They also serve a very good cooked breakfast. Aside from these, they also offer bicycles and vespa for you to use in going around the city.

Ambrosia is strategically located in the heart of Ieper near the Menin Gate and other World War I sites.

Top Local Tips for Ieper

Menai Gate Do go and listen to the Last Post at the Menai Gate - get there early if you want a good view. It was a lot more popular than we expected, even in the pouring rain, and very humbling to see the thousands of inscribed names of the lost. The Ypres museum is very good too, and nice to visit if it rains. You can see everything in Ypres itself in one day as it's a very small place.

WW1 Battlefield Tours Ypres, or rather Ieper, is where our history was made. If history is your goal, then Ypres is the place you cannot miss.
