We were given a broken travel cot for our toddler and when we asked for a replacement were told by the manager that there wasn't one available and if we weren't happy, we could find another hotel. We were given a small discount on arrival as there was only one small room available for my family of five. We were also told by management that we had no right to complain (about the cot) as we were given a discount. Having travelled the world extensively over the past 15 years, my husband and I have never ever been treated like this. The only reason I am giving a 2 is because the other staff members were friendly.

Quiet hideaway in center of town

This is a gem in center of small town. In renovated beautiful old building. Clean, contemporary room and bathroom. Some rooms are in old section some in new addition. Buffet breakfast is outstanding and served in charming old dining room with old hardwood floor, huge ceiling and leaded glass windows. Excellent service. The only drawback was that the entrance was not very well lighted at nighttime and you had to search for keyhole! Only during day somebody at reception.
