Historical Traveller Reviews of Welcome Hotel
You wont get better value in Brussels.
from A TripAdvisor MemberWe are world travellers (currently based in Atlanta) who've been all over Europe, Brazil, and Africa, but this was our favorite hotel of all time.
Welcome Hotel - A hotel that lives up to its name
from A TripAdvisor MemberBut all this is true of many hotels. The Welcome stands out for two things: first, 'individual' rooms - themed to different world locations - rather than standard boxes; but above all for the willingness always to be friendly and helpful and 'go the extra mile'. (But don't tell anyone or it will be even more difficult to get a room....!

A Great Big Welcome at A Tiny Hotel
from A TripAdvisor MemberFunky and Friendly
from NavajorugThe staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. I thought I was just in Brussels as a way-station between other destinations, but with their help, I discovered and enjoyed the city in an unanticipated way. The location was super for exploring the historical parts of the city. Plus, Vanessa may have helped me unravel the mystery of the origin of my family name, for which I'm very grateful.
Great experience. I'd definitely go back.
hotels - full of character
from A TripAdvisor MemberWarmest Welcome and Welcome Hotel
from A TripAdvisor MemberMicheal's full breakfast was a feast and his daily homebaked crossants were the best we have ever eaten!! When the new breakfast room/reception area and elevator are completed this hotel will be even more of a gem!! A special thank you to Vanessa and Micheal for making our last night in Brussels so memorable!
Top Local Tips for Brussels
Best Chocolate in the World The Marcolini chocolate shops in Brussels are the ultimate temples to chocolate. Each shop is starkly decorated with display cabinets holding single, perfect chocolates or desserts. The chocolate is perfect - whether you buy blocks of single origin cocoa bean chocolate, the wonderful fruit jellies or the "limited edition" collections of new tastes - available for a season only. Just go, and take your euros with you,
from airport to city Instead of using the hotel shuttle, we took the train from the airport to the Central Station and then took the metro directly to the hotel. It was very inexpensive, and easy to navigate with luggage. Our hotel was directly across from th emetro stop at St. Catherine.
Driving Don't drive unless you are familiar with driving in European cities.
