Le Chaloupe D'Or - Grand Place Cafe The cafe charges you 25cents to use the toilets, even if you have just had a meal there!

get a pass there are a selection of passes for the metro , buses and trams. a 3 day pass is good value at 8 euros but the metro seems to be rather run down and in eed of investment, as such it is rather dimly lit , drab and a bit intimidating , would not recommend using it late at night certaily in the down town area , paris metro it aint !!! nevertheless it is quite efficient and once you get to grips with the system it is quite easy to get around

Watch out for the lemons we like our food and our happy to pay for quality, howether, for a place that boasts more michelin star restraunts than most places, be very carefull, we ate at both the drug opera and the bulga queen, both were disasterous and way overpriced for their lame attempts at edible food. the best food we had was in a cafe, honest good food fairly priced with good service, on our last day of our trip we vacated at dawn and went to brugge where we had another amazing meal.
