I have booked this hotel thru ratestogo.com. It was listed as 'Recommended Hotel' at this website. Under room description, it was mentioned that rooms were renovated in 2004/2005. But....all was a white lie. Location was very bad as its next to the red light area. Reception smells like toilet. rooms look like garbage house (Double Junior Suite). Only one person can use elevator at one time. Its too small and old. feels like I was in tunnel. Finally staff, unhelpful, unfriendly. Surely, we wouldn't recommend this hotel. It was very terrible experience.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel for two main reasons: First, it is too dirty even if it is cheap. Secondly, it is not that cheap since it charges TWICE. Indeed, I paid in cash but forgot to require the receipt and on my return I received a note from the bank that an equivalent sum will be debited from my account on the hotel's request. So cheating and dirty!

As a group of 4 we booked a room for 4 people estimated time of arrival 3pm - we arrived at 5pm and we met by the rudest man on reception then informed that our room had been given away!!!! We recieved no sorry or reason apart from we were 2 hours late! In all my travelling experience, never have I been rejected at 10pm let alone 5pm in the afternoon, especaily since a deposit was paid and then not returned. He also ripped off another couple in the queue before us. The man offered no help in trying to find us alternative accommodation, not even a phone number. Just said "down the road!!!" The place was dirty looking, shabby and very untidy and in a very dirty part of town with not much around. I am EXTREMELY glad I stayed elsewhere!!!! Staying there would have ruined my trip!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

Myself and three friends booked this hotel through a website and paid our deposit. We said we would arrive at 3pm, but due to travel problems and diffculty finding the hotel we didn't arrive until 5.45pm. The hotel was pretty run down and is situated in what can potitely be described as the rough side of town near the red light district. The reception smelt of urine. When we tried to check the owner rudely told us that because we were late he had given our room to someone else. He refused to help us further or recommend anywhere else we could stay, which left us driving around Brussels frantically trying to find somewhere else. In the end we found a twin room and two of us had to sleep on the floor. I would strongly advise against staying in this hotel!!!!

Be Very Wary Of Staying At This Hotel.

I arrived at this hotel having made a booking using the the agency Rates To Go. The hotel had no record of my reservation. Therefore, if contemplating staying at this particular hotel it is strongly suggested that you take every possible action to confirm and reconfirm your booking. I have complained to Rates To Go and their attidute hitherto has been unhelpful. So the health warning in respect of this particular hotel also applies those those thinking of using Rates to Go.
