No double beds

Rooms and hotel in general were clean. TV had a reasonable selection of different European channels. Staff were pleasant. A lot of the rooms look out onto an internal square, and are overlooked by other rooms - we had to ask to be moved to a room which was not overlooked. Our main complaint is that we could not be provided with a room with the double bed we had requested. We were given two single beds pushed together, not even made up as a double, with the edsges of the mattresses so hard they cold not comfortably be used as a double. We were told that this was the situation in every room in the hotel. So, if you are a couple who likes to sleep in a double bed, stay away from this hotel. Breakfasts were basic.
