Top Local Tips for Brussels

Bruparck Must see and do if you have time. Great multiplex theater that includes an IMAX. Visit the Atomium while there. A look into the future.

Sainte Catherine not worth the hassle of getting there If you've decided to take a hotel room in another part of Brussels, don't be misled by the hype about the seafood dining in Sainte Catherine. It's no better there than at any other good restaurant in the city. And it can be tricky to get to SC. Plus... just because a restarant is in SC doesn't mean it absolutely has to be great. And the prices are way up there. Find something closer to your hotel. Save time. Save aggravation. And save money.

Good bar Try the Bar at the Toone Puppet theatre - you can get to it via an alley off Grassmarkt - good selection of beers and does not seem to get overly packed. I think the tiny alley means that most tourists pass it by
