Horrible rooms

The building was beautifull and the hotel is in the centre of the city, but the staff was not polite and the room was the worst I've stayed in my life. The bed was really unconfortable. I've sleeped better in a hostel! The pillows were old and really thin and the room was incredible small. In short, a horrible experience, and a very expensive one. I can't believe this is a four star hotel! They are cheating us.

Actually not too bad

The location was perfect, not to close to the centre but close enough so that you can enjoy a late nite and still take a 10 min stroll back. staff were fine, rooms a little "small" however did the job, we didnt go to stay in the hotel we went to enjoy the city and we did! breakfast included and was perfectly acceptable, shower was fantastic and all in all no complaints!

The worst thing about this place is the indifference of the staff when they serve you. After having bought a calling card for overseas calls, I asked two people at the reception desk if I would be charged for using the phone. They said no. So, when I went to pay my bill as I was leaving, I was charged over 100 Eu for using the phone. When I enquired as to why? I was told. Don't know. Furthermore, as for their 4 star rating...What are the criteria!!!? They are no better than a 3 star motel. Food is average. Asking for a clothes iron was like pulling teeth. Nope, I would not recommend staying at the Bedford to anyone.

Just back from staying in this 'hotel'. Room 620 did not have any type of heating with the temperature overnight in Brussels (0degrees to-4c)Complained to reception but was fobbed off with a shrug. Would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. this is one hotel can forget about. My rating of 2 is liberal

Excellent Service with security

I stayed in Bedford Hotel, Brussels in July 2003 and found to be good and recommend to my family and friends for the same the atmosphere and surroundings etc is good and the service is excellent.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, staff was very nice, and it was close to everything we wanted to see-we walked everywhere.

Friendly Staff and Great Hotel

My husband and I were traveling with another couple in November 2003 and had a great time at the Bedford Hotel. The staff was excellent, and always willing to help. Our room was great, with plenty of room. The bathroom was nice in that the floors were heated, so that made it nice on the chilly mornings! A great hotel experience!

We had no issues with the hotel other than the rather step €18.00 for breakfast. We felt that for the selection offered this was not justified. We also felt cheated when. upon check-in. we were told verbally that breakfast was included which turned out not to be the case. But we would definitely return.

General impression - good and safe choice

From what I can recall, it was a big hotel, with a reasonable value - very good location and high overall quality. Service was polite, lobby and corridor decoration is impressive for its rating, rooms were adequate. Its quality standards are high, so, not really much more to say. If you get a good price, go for it! you'll enjoy.

The room, staff and general feel of the hotel was excellent. Would gladly revisit again for future conferences and accommodation.
