Back in January 05 I stayed at this hotel (Brussels) and was very disappointed. There was no heat or hot water in the room, cobwebs stretched from the overhead light fixtures to various corners of the room. The bedding was very dirty with stains and the carpet could have used a good steam cleaning, stains were everywhere. The bathroom fixtures were old (toilet seat was broken,and the toilet itselt was very dirty, the sink faucet was clogged with minerals and rust),the shower door was falling off and did not close properly and last but not least, the shower fixtures were broken and could not be adjusted for a proper shower. The hand rails were a safety hazard for those who needed some type of support while traking a shower. On the good side, the buffet breakfast was not too bad, they had a variety of breakfast items to choose from. I was very impressed with the over-worked housekeeper, she was polite and accomodating.
