Mussels and beer - biking to the North Sea for great mussels an beers (typically Belgian), go to Cambrinus at Philipstockstraat 19 (www.cambrinus.eu). The staff is great and they have over 400 choices of Belgian beers ! If you like biking, rent one and go to Damme (5 km) along a nice channel and an leafy path. Once you get there, there is nothing to see but a windmill and ruins of an old church, but from there you can go to the North Sea (15 km) and even go the beach ! the bikepath is known as Riante Polder and goes through Belgium`s countryside. You will see cows, corn fields and a beautiful landscape. Everything is so well signalized that, even if you get lost as we did, you will find your way back. However, buying a map is certainly recommended. cheers !

omg Hotel Nicolas offers discount vouchers to various attractions Hotel Nicolas offers discounts to various attractions in Brugge.. skip the museums unless you really, really want to and have loads of time as many tourists we have met told us the museums were not that impressive. Take the BOAT TRIP and the BICYCLE RENT instead. Take a bike to the nearby Damme village, very beautiful route beside a lovely canal and lush green.
