Considering how expensive Brugges is, this hotel was very reasonably priced. It is clean and neat, the rooms are not large, but they are perfectly adequate and people who have complained about this should bear in mind this is a Unesco protected medieval city, so smashing down beautiful buildings to build a mega hotel isn't really possible. The building is very attractive and our room was at the fron with a lovely view and beautiful original windows. The furnishings are a bit characterless for me, but very comfortable and all brand new. The bathroom was very nice, but the glass door ( don't worry it is frosted glass)does mean you may disturb your better half if you need a pee in the middle of the night. The breakfast is very nice with a delicious selection of cold meats, a local cheese three types of sliced bread, two types of roll, croissants and all manner of spreads. A huge choice of teas, some fresh fruit and creals. Boiled eggs also, very genrous and very nice. Worth having a......
