Is There an Award for the Best Chocolate Shop Ever? Marie D'Bruges has the best chocolate in the city, in taste and in presentation, but also for the owner of the store, Marie. Marie told us that she opened her store after studying chocolate for years, and she succeeds in creating an absolutely beautiful store (in an old home) where she makes all of the chocolates herself. The address and phone number are Walstraat 16 - 050-339772.

Nice Restaurants My favourite restaurants - Chagall has very nice steaks with a good side salad; De Lange Muur is a very nice (and popular) Chinese restaurant where we had Christmas dinner; Oud Brugge has nice fish and lamb racks on the menu.

Great food Try Den Dijver on Dijver street for a wonderful dinner...3, 4 or 5 course menu matched to beer or wine selection. We had the beer selection and it was amazing. Superb service and excellent value for money.
