The hotel is gorgeous and has wonderful history of helping the allies during WWII. The staff seemed very uncomfortable with us and watched our 6 year old w/caution. Likely if we could speak French it would be much different....perhaps next time. Don't get a room near the church or the main highway...it is very loud....windows are good but if it is hot...it is tough to have them closed...no AC.
