Fantastic Stay

We had a brilliant stay the staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was better than we expected. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was great. Food a treat. Look forward to another stay when the park in front is completed! Would have been nice to have breakfast included.

I've stayed here several times. The good points - bar staff very friendly if you make the effort, location is great for station and diamond district, zoo next to station is worth visiting, aquarium underneath the hotel (how cool is that). Reasonable if expensive food. Bad points - reception often grumpy unless you really make an effort, restaurant manager more concerned with trying to look professional than actually looking after customers. Only consider the Astrid or the Hilton if budget allows.

Very comfortable hotel

Very comfortable hotel in great location. In terms of character, the hotel has very little to distinguish it from the usual chain hotels, but is a perfectly "functioning" solution for a quick visit to Antwerp. In 2003, I was charged an outrageous 20 for a very ordinary buffet breakfast, on top on my overnight stay. At check-in, the staffmember made no reference to the fact that breakfast would be an additional cost. For a hotel of this category, this was a major blunder. The cost of the room could easily have covered a buffet breakfast.

Central and Very Comfortable

I thought the location was excellent being so close to Central Station. It was very reasonably priced and it was extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend it.
