Wonderful Place to Stay

After spending three weeks in the Balkan states, a couple of nights at the Golden Tuplip were very relaxing. The hotel is about a block away from a bus stop, which makes it very easy to find. The rooms were very comfortable and accomadating. Not what many travelers in the United States expect from a hotel, but one of the most comfortable European style hotels I have seen. The price was very affordable as well. On a side note, I left a CD carrier in my room and the hotel found them for me and helped me get them shipped back to the United States. I would recomend this hotel to anyone, and plan on staying again if I make it back to Vienna.

Top Local Tips for Vienna

Weekly Transit Pass I bought a weekly transit pass for $14 Euros. You can buy it at any local Tabac shop. It allows unlimited travel on any bus, subway, tram from Monday - Sunday. Excellent value for a tourist! No need to have the pass validated, just start using it.
