Our room in the Pension Rosengarten was clearly 4 star and obsessively clean and organized. Buffet breakfast seemed spartan but adequate. It is on the outskirts of Vienna, and takes 10 minutes on foot and 15-20 minutes by trolley to the Town Center. There seemed to be little or no concession for English Speaking guests, and the warmth, ambiance and graciousness of other Pensions was clearly lacking, in our view. No Internet, no ice, no concession toward service. Our advice, find something more pleasant and closer to town. The owner/manager was extremely unpleasant to us and after one night we told her we were checking out. Her response was to call the police.
