The location is very convenient, the room was very nice, the amenities (gym, jacuzzi) were pleasant. The free mini bar and the fruit in the room were a nice touch. Some of the interior decor (red, black) of the hotel is garish at best, reminded me of some of the seedy night clubs I had seen. The fact that the high price of the room did not include breakfast, for which a hefty sum of extra money was to be paid, was also surprising. Hotels of lesser quality and of lower price routinely provide this. No free parking at this level? Another bad suprise. Not spending much time on how my wife's hair spray was lost from the room during the daily cleaning, causing more inconvenience, the worst part was when the reception staff actually tried to rob us. The trick the man pulled on us had last been tried on me some twelve years ago in Asia, in a three star establishment. This is how it goes:
