As the 2nd and 3rd nights of our 2 week honeymoon trip to central europe, we were honored to stay in such a wonderful hotel. The service was excellent and very attentive. The rooms were clean, spacious and well-kept. The atmosphere definately reveals its well-earned "charmed" repuatation. Simply an amazing establishment. Very close to area sites including Palace and shopping district. We had vehicle and paid for parking and simply strolled into town when we needed to. All-in-all, loved the fact is was slightly "out of the loop" and still an excellent stay. GREAT PLACE!

Good hotel - I felt that the breakfast buffet could have had a wider selection than just bread-based items. Also I complained several times about a battery gone wrong for the remote control and staff didn't replace it.

1) Breakfast buffet was largely bread-based with little provision of cereals, also not much water or juice was supplied.
2) I asked politely several times over the course of my stay if they could replace a faulty battery in the remote control for the television set in my room and they did nothing.
3) Take care when crossing the street lights nearby as Viennese drivers are very much in a hurry

We felt very lucky with this hotel. Comparatively inexpensive, but right across the street from the Schonnbrun and from the metro with easy access to downtown. The hotel had delightful historic charm both in the lobby and the room. And the staff were wonderful.
