Very overated.
Poor facilities, found a lunchbox with over ripe cheese left behind in wardrobe not very nice! Poor lighting and very shabby furnishings have stayed in better youth hostels as a student! The breakfast room was nice and airy which you could also say for the food which although looked good was freezing cold even though when we ate there was still an hour of service left. Good location though and friendly staff.

On the fence
The central location of thie hotel is about the best thing that it has going for it. I found housekeeping to be a little lax in their services. For example, we were not given the proper number of bath towels one day, and our room was not done until almost dinner time another day. Sheets were not changed daily.
The lift in the older side leaves a lot to be desired. It is very slow and can only hold four people at a time. No wonder the bags were slow getting up to the rooms!
I found it strange and rather inconvenient that there were no personelle on the desk in the older side. I had to go across the street to get service, and had to wait an inordinately long time before I was assisted. This is not acceptable.
However, it is clean, quiet and comfortable.
