Great Getaway in Austria

During a short visit to Austria we visited Mayrhofen for some spring skiing at Hintertux. We were very pleased with the hospitality offered by Martin and Veronica Huber and family. They helped us find our way around and helped us with train reservations to Vienna. (The train station in Mayrhofen is not associated with Austrian Rail and our German was not good enough to reserve over the phone.) The Hotel was in the midst of a major renovation while we were there it should be in spectacular shape by now. The large suite was very pleasantly appointed and comfortable. The hotel is close to town (5 minutes walk) and it is easy to get to restaurants, groceries, and transportation by foot. Views are great, and Mayrhofen is very pleasant.
