Pleasant Hotel, friendly staff
Stayed at the Mtteregger Hotel for our annual ski holiday. Food was excellent with plenty choice, rooms were reasonable and kept clean. The only downside, we would have to say was that there were dogs belonging to the owners that were allowed to roam the dining area, and on one occasion I had a dog hair in my food! Dogs had been seen sleeping in the kitchen on the floor!! Also, there was a canny bus ride both ways every day to the ski area, and buses could be quite crowded. Overall, had a good holiday, main downside was that there was a lot of queueing for the cable cars and lifts every day, sometimes over an hour! As Kaprun has its own glacier, and there was not much snow at a lot of the other resorts, bus loads of people were driven in every day to ski the resort - thus making the runs very busy, and the snow soon got heavy and clumpy. A good holiday due to the company we were with, and the pleasant apres-ski.
