We stayed as a party of 6 people at the Eberl March 2008 for a skiing holiday. We had 3 of the annexe rooms, 110, 111, 112. The first room being marginally larger than the others whereby you couldn't actually fit your luggage in the room and close the door behind you without re-arranging the furniture - i.e. stacking chairs and table on top of eachother etc. The sink is in the bedroom and the shower room with toilet tiny. No hook to even hang your dressing gown in there and the water temperature was constantly changing from freezing cold to boiling hot which was really quite uncomfortable. The rooms did have balconies but in some cases shared with the next door room. The beds were too short to sleep comfortably if you were over about 5"6 tall.

Breakfast was an expensive buffet, hot and cold meat, cheese, breads, cakes, cereal, fruit, yogurt etc so always something nice to eat. Impecible waiter service. The 4 course evening meal was waiter service, with the main course selected each day at breakfast from a menu of 3 options. Each night there was soup, a starter, main course and salad buffet, desert and cheese buffet. The food was always excellent at supper times.

The staff were very friendly but the bar was too smokey to choose to sit in. There is a ski room with boot heaters and the expansive wellness centre in the basement but no swimwear is allowed!

The hotel is located right in the centre of Finkenberg where the lift queues are short, ski bus stop right opposite or short uphill wallk to the gondola. There are 2 bars but not always mahy patrons in these. There is 1 expensive skiwear shop and 1 spar shop up from the gondola but this is all. Expect a quiet village location but the hotel is on the main road so some noise from this.
