The bar is smokey and extremely expensive. £4,40 for 50cl of coke.
The food was mixed, some of it was reasonably nice whilst some was inedible. The menu is not provided with an English translation, which makes choosing your food difficult.

Breakfast was an expensive buffet, hot and cold meat, cheese, breads, cakes, cereal, fruit, yogurt etc so always something nice to eat. Impecible waiter service. The 4 course evening meal was waiter service, with the main course selected each day at breakfast from a menu of 3 options. Each night there was soup, a starter, main course and salad buffet, desert and cheese buffet. The food was always excellent at supper times.
The staff were very friendly but the bar was too smokey to choose to sit in. There is a ski room with boot heaters and the expansive wellness centre in the basement but no swimwear is allowed!
The hotel is located right in the centre of Finkenberg where the lift queues are short, ski bus stop right opposite or short uphill wallk to the gondola. There are 2 bars but not always mahy patrons in these. There is 1 expensive skiwear shop and 1 spar shop up from the gondola but this is all. Expect a quiet village location but the hotel is on the main road so some noise from this.

Top Local Tips for Finkenberg
White Lounge Igloo Party If you get the chance you should absolutely go to the White Lounge Igloo party at the top of the Ahorn 150man cable car. It's a party with DJ and bar inside an igloo with various rooms all made of ice with ice carvings. Outside there's burning torches for you to light your way on the snow and a bonfire with deckchairs to keep warm around. There's also another bar outside serving delicious hot gluwein.
This resort is quiet Take some games with you or you will be watching German tv all night (if you don't like sitting in smokey bars, that is)
Ski Buses Lift pass advertises these as free - ONLY free if you have skiis with you!!! Most of the lifts in the area were closed due to wind on one of our days - we decided to go into Mayrhofen and get the 'free' bus - ended up having to pay a fiver for two people to make a 5 minute journey - needles to say we wlaked back to Finkenberg!!!
