Excellant hotel, the newer parts of the schloss blended well with the old.an interesting place to stay staff very friendly and helpful,nothing was too much trouble. food served quickly and efficiently, a good starting point for walks and trips.

The hotel
Hotel very nice and beyond my expectations and I find it strange that some comments from other people saying meals took 2 hours. I did not experience anything like that. 45 minutes from start to finish, perfect service from very efficient staff. MY two complaints are the owner always spoke about us being English when I am Scottish and the smoke in the bar was unbelievable it is about time they banned smoking in public places.

Impressive hotel
Our stay in Tyrol at the end of April 2006 was rather better than we had hoped for thanks to the excellent staff of this interesting hotel. Very nice room, clean and comfortable; very good food served by friendly and helpful staff - and without unnecessary delays. An absolute top!

Good choice
The service is slow, but then the price is very reasonable and the food is good. The meals are freshly cooked, nothing has been sitting in a baine marie for hours and I for one would sooner wait a little longer for better quality. I don't consider 1.5 Hrs excessive for 4 courses. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, the rooms comfortable and clean. We stayed Christmas 2005 and had a realy nice time.

Beautiful but slow!!!!
Great location, good amenities, large comfortable rooms, nice pool, good food BUT very slow service, record wait for main course=2hrs! Unhelpful staff slightly dampened an otherwise enjoyable holiday.
