Austria is beautiful! And especially beautiful is the Stift Ardagger region. We stayed at the extremely reasonable Stiftaverne in Ardagger for 5 days and enjoyed their hospitality, fresh foods, amazing local schnapps, the peace and calm of the hills and, in addition, made good friends. Ms Archana Migschitz (Archie) runs a good show.
Not far is the Wachau region and Amstetten with direct train links to the rest of this gorgeous country.
