My sister wanted to visit Armenia for the first time from London and asked me which hotel I thought would suit her.
I told her the Congress looked nice; what a disaster, I should have kept my big mouth shut.
Cramped room, $110 US dollars a night, for a self-styled De Luxe hotel it has no room service, she took a Coca Cola from the mini fridge and was asked to and paid for it the very next morning, this was not replaced and the following morning she was asked to pay again, when she explained that she had not taken another as the one she had paid for had not been replaced, she was told in a huff and very rudely that they would empty her fridge there and then which they proceeded to do immediately. Very bad manners.
I owned and run a well known central hotel in London for over 20 years and consider myself well versed in matters to do with hotels.
Every morning whilst waiting for my sister I used to listen to a litany of complaints from the guests in the lounge, money......
