Hotel Pepeto Very difficult to find this hotel on the web - my husband found it walking around the town centre. It's down a horrible stinky alley just off the main square at the top of the pedestrian street/bashkortes (town hall) Xhami (mosque). Because its only advertising is a sign, the owner was happy to bring the price down for the week - we paid 200 euros. Really quaint inside, rooms have fridge and TV with 60 channels from jordanain to Polish! The guests were mainly albanian, so you know it is value for money! I found a supermarket open 24 hours a day just across from the waterfront so bought all my drinks and snacks; although it was Italian-style, and therefore expensive, still saved a packet. Don't buy drinks for the beach, you will find cold drinks sellers,100 leks for ice cold water - very reasonable. I was also able to buy a dress and sun hat from these young entrepreneurs!
