Fabulous Food Everywhere!!! You will see a diverse selection of food everywhere in Panama City. The low prices will blow you away. $7.50 for a filet mignon dinner? Are you kidding me? 48 cents for a cold beer in the supermercado? Wow. Go to the Benidorm Resaurante in the Hotel Acapulco. Open 24 hours and diner style service and ambience. Very casual and full bar service. Ordered a bowl of seafood soup:Sopa de Marisco for only $3.50, huge platter of seafood/potato salad for $5.50. Did not have a chance to go back to get the filet mignon dinner for $7.50 but intend to do so on the next trip. I will bet it is really something and more than you could eat. You will find most of the restaurants to be immaculate because of the tropical climate. They don't take chances. I found some of the kitchens to be cleaner than in the USA. If you are a foodie, you will have a blast!!!!!!!
