Spectacular view and lobby, worst service

Only a true nature lover would give this place a shot. The views are spectacular and the biodiversity unsurpassed. But your stay may be compromised not to mention your health because the rooms were severely affected by mold and mildew, the staff at the restaurants had poor to unhygenic food handling practices, and they have to be among the most unfriedly and incompotent staff in the "Hospitality industry" and that's a lot to stay since I have traveled around the world. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. If you want to enjoy the surroundings pay $50 for access to the pool and walking trails and enjoy a day without putting yoursefl at risk of contracting a disease as we did with salmonella. Whatever you do stay away from the rooms (any room) and any of their 3 restaurants or bars--please!!!! Panama City is only 20 minutes away and has a myriad of great far more superior hotels.

Top Local Tips for Panama City

If you want to do more than 1 thing You'll have to use a taxi because this place is in the heart of Soberania National Park, which is a great get away, but about 1 hr from Panama City. You even have to catch a taxi to the Miraflores locks. This can be pricey, so plan your off-site excursions well.

this hotel is closer to Panama City than Colon. Trip Advisor should have this under Panama City instead of Colon as people may think this is too far away and miss the opp of a lifetime. if thats possible. Most all are flying into Panama City. Not many are interested in Colon and i could not find this hotel when typing in Panama City.

Where to shop the Albrook Mall is far superior to the Multi-Center and the Multi-Plaza Malls
