Excellent restauants, near Panamonte. The town has some excellent restaurants ranging from Agentine and French, to Peruvian and Italian. All of which are in close proximity to the Panamonte. Taxis aren't more than $2...MAX. Even so, the town is very walkable and full of friendly people.

Cafe Ruiz Don't miss the tour of the coffee plantation at Cafe Ruiz ($25 per person). It was the one of the highlights of my stay in Boquete. Carlos (the guide) was outstanding. You will not regret the 3 hour tour, it is so very informative. Just ask at the hotel front desk. Tours are 9am and 1pm.
