Top Local Tips for La Ceiba

Whitewater Rafting on the Rio Cangrejal Lots of Fun We went white water rafting with Omega Tours and it was a lot of fun. Unfortunately the road washed out in a storm that night, so we aren't sure of the status. Staying overnight in the Creekside cabin at Omega was a treat as well.

Tours Book ahead if possible. Be warned, Garifuna tours does not give full refund even if your boat breaks down ten feet from shore on a snorkel tour, as ours did. Only refunded half!
