The absolute haven in Tamarindo...is Barcelo Langosta! The staff is con mucho gusto to help you (with much pleasure) and the fact that everything is all-inclusive (food, nominal drinks) makes the stay one less hassel. The food is not top rated, but their is a variety, making the food do-able each evening. The location on the beach in Costa Rica is wonderful and everything that you can imagine is in Tamarindo, which is a short walk. All in all, Barcelo Langosta is a family friendly fun place to stay for your time in Costa Rica...make sure you visit the Arenal region for more fun!

The Drake, Value for money

We have spend a couple of nights at the Drake when visiting New York, partly for business and partly for enjoying the Big Apple. The Drake has a very good location making it easy to see what has to be seen in this beautiful city. Both service as well as the rooms are of high standards!!

Next time we visit New York it will be the Drake once again.

I feel that the Drake has a wonderful position in New York but that it was a huge mistake to have Fauchon on Park rather than the hotel entrance. The Hotel has lost its way: I stayed there in the 80's and it was better. We stayed for Christmas and I have to say that lunch was good without being festive. However the rooms are of a nice size and very comfortable. The lack of a decent bar is a bore but my American fiends love the breakfasts.
