Top Local Tips for Puerto Quepos

Take a plane! It's worth it to take a plane from San Jose to Quepos Airport rather than taking that long and winding drive. I get motion sickness, and on the first part of my trip (San Jose to Arenal), I was literally throwing up in the shuttle.

National Park Make sure you hire someone to take you on a guided tour of the National Park, but at the same time make sure you barter a price because the WILL budge! We paid $50 for for of us (they try and charge $20 each)
