I am going to be honest here. Although the owners of the place are very kind of the place its self lacks. The hotel does have a new part of which I and 3 others stayed in. When we entered the room we pulled out a trundle, of which, that was covered in busy. The sheet had obviously not be changed since that last user. And for the location, it is not close to anything. It tries to say that it is close to a very famous restaurant. The truth is that the restaurant was famous a while back and is no longer used by many. There are much better places to say in Manule. I hate to leave this review but it is the honest truth.

Priced right, attractive rooms set a bit close to the Hiway; still, gives easy access to a nice restaurant right across the street and a romantically set restaurant just down the street. Easy bus access to Manuel Antonio or Quepos, gets you away from the bustle of the towns and their night life. Very pleasant owner(David),who also caters dinners.

Top Local Tips for Manuel Antonio

You can snorkle in the park If you're heading to the park take your snorkel gear. Follow the rocks/reefs and be patient. The vis isn't great but there are lots of beautiful fish including parrot fish, puffer fish and trigger fish.

Use public bus the public bus from here to Manuel Antonio Park is 110 colones or roughly .24 cents.

dining possibilities We enjoyed breakfast at "Cavallo Bianco" across from the "Barba Roja" restaurant. It is typical "cocina Tica" and the best "gallo pinto" we have eaten. We also liked "Cafe Milagro". We enjoyed dinners at "El Avion" (spectacular views) and "Barba Roja". In Quepos, we dined at "El Escape".
