Geeting from San Jose to Peurto Veijo The hardest part of our trip was figuring out how ot get from the Airport to the coast. The best and most inexpensive way is by bus. At the airport you will be greeted by zillions of overzealous taxi drivers. Pick one in white shirt. Official taxi's drive red cars with the yellow symbol on them. You will pay for the fare just inside the terminal. Its $20 to get the the Terminal Carribe. You have ot be able ot get there before 3:00 to make the last bus. Hard ot do but possible if you are arriving on the Air canada flight. The busses dont run after dark through the moutain range. The buses are nice greyhound style and wll cost you $7 to Peuto Viejo. The ride though the mountain rainforests is awsome. The roads are good too until you get near Peuto Viejo. Once there you can hop on local buses to get around or by taxi, rent a bike or just walking the beach. Once there time quickly slows to a crawl.
